This policy applies to the Polka Dot Collage Maker app and related online services. In this policy, "we" refers to the provider of Polka Dot Collage Maker. We follow data minimization, clear purpose, transparency, and security principles. We do not collect or share your personal information for ad tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect And How
To provide core features and service support, we may process information you provide, information generated by the system, or records generated by our service, including a generated device identifier, sign-in status, account type, phone number or stable Apple user identifier, app version, operating system version, device information, images you actively choose to import, draft and export records, rating or product interaction events, issue feedback, satisfaction rating, diagnostics, and contact details you voluntarily provide. If you do not bind a phone number or Apple account, you can still use basic creation features as a guest.
Subscription And Transaction Information
When you activate, restore, or use VIP membership, we process transaction-related information needed to provide membership benefits, such as Apple product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, expiration time, renewal status, receipt or transaction verification results, entitlement status, and necessary order records. We do not collect your bank card number, Apple ID password, or full payment credentials. The payment process is handled by Apple.
Permissions And Local Photo Handling
Photo library read permission is used only when you choose photos to create collages. Photo library write permission is used only to save exported images or motion artwork. Network access is used for sign-in, uploads, draft and export records, feedback submission, rating event records, and necessary service communication. Images you actively choose may be uploaded to our server or object storage for drafts, export records, sync, and troubleshooting. Local photos that you do not actively choose, import, save, or submit are not proactively synced to the server. Apple-related capabilities are used for Sign in with Apple and system review prompts. You can manage permissions in system settings, but disabling them may prevent related features from working.
How We Use Information
We use necessary data to provide photo import, editing, motion preview, artwork export, draft saving, account sign-in, user feedback, troubleshooting, account security, service stability, product experience analysis, and compliance review. Contact details in feedback are used only to handle that issue and not for marketing outreach. Rating and product interaction events are used only to understand feature quality, service stability, and issue priority.
Sharing, Processing, And Third Parties
When needed to provide features, we may work with service providers such as Apple sign-in and system services, SMS services, object storage, server hosting, and troubleshooting providers. We require them to process only necessary information for agreed purposes and to provide protection no less protective than this policy. We do not share your personal information with unrelated third parties except as required by law, regulation, dispute handling, account and service security, or your consent.
Apple Platform And Third-Party Rules
Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, subscription management, refunds, system review prompts, and photo permissions are provided by or coordinated with Apple system capabilities. These features may also be subject to Apple's privacy policy, App Store rules, and device system settings. We receive only the necessary result information needed for sign-in, membership verification, purchase restoration, refund status synchronization, or user authorization.
Retention And Security
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Account binding information, sessions, drafts, export records, feedback, diagnostic logs, and compliance records are retained for necessary periods based on feature needs, laws, platform rules, and security risk controls. When the purpose is fulfilled, account deletion is completed, or the necessary period expires, data is deleted, anonymized, or handled according to compliance requirements. We use access controls, encrypted transmission, permission management, and log auditing to protect information security.
Data Storage And Cross-Region Processing
We store and process data within the scope necessary to provide the service, based on server, object storage, Apple platform, and operational needs. If cross-region processing occurs because of Apple In-App Purchase, sign-in, cloud services, troubleshooting, or legal compliance, we take necessary safeguards according to applicable laws and platform rules. Photos you choose to import or upload may contain personal or sensitive information, so please confirm that you have the right to process and use that content before selecting photos.
Your Rights
You can view policies, submit feedback, sign out, or request account deletion in app Settings, and you can manage photo permissions in system settings. You may also use feedback to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, account deletion, or explanations of personal information processing rules. We will process reasonable requests after verifying identity within time limits required by law.
Minors
If you are a minor, please use the service with guardian consent and guidance. We do not actively conduct personalized marketing to minors and do not knowingly collect unrelated information from children. Guardians who believe a minor's information has been improperly processed can contact us through feedback.
Updates And Contact
We may update this policy when features, third-party services, legal requirements, or processing methods change, and we will show the latest version in the app. For privacy, permission, data deletion, or account deletion questions, contact us through User Feedback in Settings.
